Jambo, my friends!!
How is everything? Are you already beginning to design your new summer 2019 collections? Well, I bring a new pattern that can help you. This is a digital print with African scenes. The idea was to inspire me again in the Toile de Jouy patterns (I like them so much), but applying more colors to bring more warmth to the whole. Result: AFRICA print, classic and fun at the same time.
One of the tips that I always give to grant-holdings and junior designers is travelling (as far as possible, of course) and become cultured. Go to exhibitions, read books and magazines, watch documentaries, etc … and not just about fashion. Knowledge does not take place and today Internet allows you to do all this economically. A tile from a mosque, a Mexican carpet or a semi-hidden graffiti on a wall of your city can be the ones that blow up the spark of the desired inspiration.
I would also imagine a classic dress mixed with stripes, bows, lace and green tones, bringing a colonial look. Be careful with the dark green color, add it only in small details to get strength and contrast to the combination, but do not dirty it.
TIP: I added bows on its shoulders. Take note of this detail for your summer collections 2019.
TIP: Green ric-rac ribbons and white cotton embroidered lace would also fit it very well. The white will give more light to the whole.
TIP: The blouse could also be plain white-off with some small detail in dark green.
TIP: Do not you imagine this set perfectly transformed to kid? Again versatility is very important and this pattern is totally unisex.
And finally, the files are presented in AI and PSD with layers, compositions can make to your liking.
As you can see is a versatile pattern and will give to your collection a twist. What are you waiting for? If you like, run to the Shop!
Kisses for everybody and see you next week!
